About the Employer
Our client delivers engineering and construction projects across Australian transport, civil and energy infrastructure, with teams supporting major project delivery.
The Opportunity
Take a senior commercial role on an integrated station and infrastructure development in Parramatta. Partner with project leadership to administer contracts, improve commercial performance and guide junior team members.
Your Responsibilities
• Manage head-contract and subcontract correspondence, notices, claims, payments, variations and time extensions.
• Support package procurement, negotiations and commercial reviews.
• Prepare cost forecasts and financial reports that inform project decisions.
• Assess contractual and financial risks and resolve commercial issues.
• Build effective client and supplier relationships and mentor junior commercial staff.
Requirements
Skills, Education and Requirements
• A bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least seven years in construction contract administration or commercial management.
• Experience with building, civil or infrastructure contracts and subcontract packages.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction contracts and procurement.
• Effective negotiation, analysis, prioritisation and stakeholder communication.
