The Opportunity

\n

Extend , part of The Extend Group, is looking for an OSHC Service Coordinator at St Luke's Primary School in Lalor to play, teach, and take care of children in a safe learning environment in Outside School Hours Care.

Role

\n

\n
• Before School Care 6:45am to 8:45am
\n
• After School Care 2:30pm to 6:00pm
\n
• Monday to Friday.
\n
• Paid administrative time and regular training meetings.
\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of the service.
\n
• Develop, plan, and deliver daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.
\n
• Strong focus on child safety, supervision, and mandatory reporting.
\n
• Prepare and serve healthy food options.
\n
• Create an engaging and happy environment for children.
\n
• Build meaningful relationships with your colleagues, the children, families, school leaders, and the school community.
\n

Pre-requisites (completed or studying towards)

\n

\n
• Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor’s in children’s services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care or equivalent.
\n
• A current Employee Working with Children’s Checks (or willing to obtain).
\n
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain).
\n
• Child Protection Training Certificate (or willing to obtain).
\n
