Senior Contracts Administrator - Roads and Civil Works
Location: Kemps Creek, NSW.
About the Employer
Our client is an infrastructure engineering and construction contractor delivering transport, civil and energy projects. Its teams work across design, construction and project delivery in Australia.
The Opportunity
Support commercial delivery of major road and civil infrastructure projects in New South Wales. Working with project and commercial leadership, you will manage subcontract packages, control contractual risks and support accurate project cost reporting.
Your Responsibilities
• Administer package correspondence, progress payments, variations, extensions of time and notices.
• Support subcontract procurement, tender evaluation and negotiations.
• Assess claims and supporting evidence against contract requirements.
• Maintain cost forecasts and commercial reports and identify emerging contractual risks.
• Resolve commercial interfaces with engineers and construction teams and develop effective supplier relationships.
• Guide junior contracts administrators and commercial team members.
Requirements
Skills, Education and Requirements
• A bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least seven years in construction contract administration or commercial management.
• Experience on major road, highway or civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong Australian construction contract, procurement, commercial and subcontract management knowledge.
• Effective analytical judgement, negotiations, problem solving and stakeholder communication.
