Job Description The Client: \n

The Senior Solution Architect leads delivery engagements and cross-functional technical teams on customer programs and projects. They will be responsible for supervising and leading technical teams, provide subject matter expertise and be a recognized expert by significant career experience in enterprise IT leadership within investments.

The role: \n

\n
• Define and maintain the reference architecture for the investment domain, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and standards.
\n
• Conduct architecture reviews and assessments for the investment domain, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
\n
• Ensure standards and delivery methodologies are being followed and appropriate internal and/or partner resources are available to meet the current and future demands of the project.
\n
• Be the one solution / technical voice facing the client externally and the escalation point internally, partner with the PMO counterpart to resolve Risks and Issues upon identification.
\n
• Collaborate with the business stakeholders, enterprise teams, other solution architects, and IS&T delivery teams to understand the business needs and translate them into architecture solutions.
\n
• Work on projects to deliver solution design artefacts including conceptual designs, high level designs, technical assessments, solution options papers.
\n
• Lead and facilitate architecture workshops and forums for the investment domain, engaging with the relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts.
\n
• Provide architecture guidance and governance for the investment domain, ensuring compliance with the architecture policies and frameworks.
\n

Candidate Profile: \n

\n
• At least 10 years of architecture experience as a Solution or Infrastructure Architect within financial services & investments
\n
• Understanding of investment products, asset classes, and financial markets.
\n
• Strong experience within delivering on data and architectural roadmaps
\n
• Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the investment industry
\n
• Strong understanding of investment products and financial markets with tools such as Bloomberg, Aladdin etc
\n
• Excellent stakeholder communication and engagement skills
\n
• Experience working within an enterprise architecture governance framework
\n
• History of developing solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and secure
\n
• AWS: redshift, S3, lambda beneficial
\n
