Electrical Supervisor - Solar and HV Construction

Our client is an engineering and construction business working across transport, defence and major infrastructure. It combines project delivery expertise with a focus on collaboration, technical improvement and sustainable outcomes.

The Opportunity

Supervise electrical construction crews on a major New South Wales renewable energy development, reporting to electrical site leadership. This site-based DIDO role follows a 9:5 roster, with accommodation and allowances where applicable.

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise crews and contractors installing PV arrays, inverters, AC/DC systems, switchgear, transformers and HV connections.

• Plan daily work, allocate resources and track progress.

• Verify compliance with electrical standards, network requirements, WHS obligations and project designs.

• Inspect quality and maintain construction records.

• Resolve technical and delivery risks with engineers, project managers and safety teams.

• Support commissioning and operations handover.

Requirements

Skills, Education and Requirements

• An electrical trade qualification and NSW electrical licence.

• Supervisory experience on large construction projects; renewable energy or HV experience is highly desirable.

• Strong HV/LV, solar construction and grid-connection knowledge.

• Demonstrated team leadership and effective communication, organisation and problem solving.

• Commitment to safe delivery and construction quality.
