\n HammondCare pastoral care volunteers have an opportunity to support the spiritual and emotional needs of the elderly people living in an aged care home.\n
\n As a pastoral care volunteer, you’ll be a Christian actively involved with a local Christian church in the area, offering comfort, presence, and hope to those who need it most. \n

\n Volunteering can be a rewarding experience, both for the people you interact with as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.\n

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements \n
\n We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.\n
