Job Description \n

We are looking for a proactive and committed Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. In this role you oversee the seamless and efficient management of the Cliveden Bar & Dining & assisting with Sanctum HQ (Melbourne’s ultimate members’ club for exclusive experiences) while consistently delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.

You're responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

\n

\n
• You will form part of the Food & Beverage management team providing ongoing support, training and development to team members.
\n
• Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage to support revenue initiatives and maintain cost controls.
\n
• Assist in the recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members which a particular focus on ensuring we maintain brand standards and cultivate an upselling culture.
\n
• Prepare, manage and assist in facilitating event operational requirements.
\n
• Prepare and manage team members for a smooth operation.
\n
• Ensure rosters have adequate number of team members for future events.
\n
• Effectively handle guest feedback and provide a prompt positive outcome.
\n

Qualifications \n

Our ideal candidate will hold the below (but not limited to):

• 2+ years’ experience within the Food & Beverage.
\n
• Sound understanding of emerging trends in the industry, with an innovative mindset.
\n
• Strong focus and passion for hotel, food and beverage operations, and guest satisfaction.
\n
• Ability to excel within a busy operation and be able to multitask with a warm friendly approach
\n
• Ability to work flexibility (including nights, weekends, public holidays).
\n
• Possession of impeccable attention to detail and time management skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently and lead a team to deliver successful operations.
\n
• Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change.
\n
• Must hold a valid RSA.
\n
