Sales Manager, Ruminant, New Zealand

This position is located in New Zealand and will be employed by 3rd party EOR entity.

General Responsibilities:

\n
\n

• Achieve annual sales targets and growth objectives for the New Zealand ruminant portfolio.
\n • Develop and implement the New Zealand ruminant sales strategy aligned with Oceania and APAC priorities.
\n • Manage direct and indirect sales through distributors, agents, and key accounts.
\n • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, feed mills and premixers, KOLs, nutritionists, and veterinarians.
\n • Establish, manage, and coach distributors and sales consultants.
\n • Monitor market trends and competitor activities and provide timely feedback to senior management.
\n • Collaborate with Technical Services and Marketing to support product positioning and customer engagement.
\n • Organize and support seminars, industry events, and promotional activities.
\n • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
\n • Complete required sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence reports.

Key Knowledge/ Experience Requirements:

\n
\n

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, or related field.
\n • 8–10+ years of experience in ruminant nutrition, animal health, or related agribusiness.
\n • Proven success in senior sales or sales management roles.
\n • Strong understanding of the New Zealand dairy or ruminant relevant industry and market dynamics.
