Trainer & Assessor - Early Childhood Education and School Based Education

Park Orchards Community House and Learning Centre – Park Orchards VIC

Park Orchards Community House & Learning Centre are seeking experienced and passionate Trainer and Assessors to deliver Certificate III level qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care and School Based Education Support. The successful candidate/s will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to students and will support them to develop the knowledge, practical skills and confidence required to work successfully within the relevant sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions in accordance with training package requirements
  • Assess students' knowledge and practical skills fairly and consistently
  • Provide constructive feedback and ongoing support to students
  • Facilitate practical learning activities and workplace-based learning placements
  • Maintain accurate student training and assessment records
  • Ensure training and assessment practices meet relevant regulatory and quality requirements
  • Keep up to date with industry practices, legislation and changes to training package requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the compliance and education team
  • Support students to successfully complete their qualification

About you

  • Relevant qualifications and industry experience at Certificate III or above
  • A current TAE qualification (TAE40116 or TAE40122 or higher)
  • Current industry knowledge and experience in relevant sector
  • Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for supporting and developing students
  • The ability to deliver engaging face-to-face, blended and/or online training
  • A commitment to quality training, assessment, student outcomes and continuous improvement
  • Relevant Working with Children Check, Police Check and other required clearances
  • Current Drivers License and access to vehicle
