TheGreat Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is responsible for protecting and managing one of Australia’s most iconic coastal landscapes. We care for parks, reserves and marine environments along the Great Ocean Road, including internationally recognised visitor sites. Working closely with Traditional Owners, communities and stakeholders, we protect environmental, cultural and heritage values while supporting sustainable visitation and long‑term conservation.
About the Role

As a Caravan Park Attendant, you'll be the welcoming face of the park, assisting guests with bookings, enquiries and day‑to‑day support while helping maintain a clean, safe and well‑presented environment. This is a hands‑on, varied role that combines customer service and reception duties with general cleaning, grounds and maintenance tasks to ensure every guest enjoys a positive stay.
Working in a stunning beachfront location, you'll be part of a supportive team that plays an important role in delivering memorable experiences for visitors from across Australia and around the world.
What You'll Do
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service at reception, over the phone and via email.
- Assist guests with bookings, check‑ins, enquiries and information about the local area.
- Respond to guest requests and help resolve issues to ensure a positive visitor experience.
- Process reservations using our booking systems and assist with administrative tasks.
- Maintain high presentation standards across park facilities, amenities and accommodation.
- Undertake cleaning of cabins, amenities, kitchens and other communal areas.
- Assist with general grounds maintenance including mowing, gardening and rubbish collection.
- Complete minor maintenance and handyman‑style tasks to support the safe operation of the park.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking people who enjoy working with customers and take pride in delivering excellent service.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in customer service, reception, retail, hospitality or tourism.
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with a wide range of people.
- A friendly, approachable and solutions‑focused attitude.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A willingness to work across reception, cleaning, grounds and maintenance activities.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A current Australian Driver Licence.
Desirable but not essential:
- First Aid Certificate.
- Experience using RMS or similar booking systems.
- Experience in cleaning, grounds maintenance or general handyman duties.
