Austek Roads is expanding its services into ACT and we’re looking for a Bitumen Tanker Driver to join our dynamic team based in Hume, ACT. We deliver high-quality asphalt surfacing, patching, and civil projects across the ACT and surrounding regions, with a strong reputation for reliability, performance, and customer service.

What you'll be doing \n

\n
• Safely operating heavy vehicles, plant & equipment
\n
• Safely carry out labouring duties
\n
• Conduct Pre-Start checks prior to operating any trucks, plant or equipment; reporting anybreakdowns or urgent issues immediately
\n
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
\n
• Ensuring a high quality of service, work and workmanship at all times
\n

What we're looking for \n

\n
• Current holder of a HC (Heavy Combination) heavy vehicle drivers licence
\n
• Current holder of a Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence
\n
• Ability to operate various types of equipment that may include but not limited to light vehicles, cars, loaders, rollers and specific Asphalt Paving equipment
\n
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
\n
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
\n
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
\n
• Silica and Asbestos awareness training
\n
