Task & responsibilities

Task & responsibilities
- Responsible for diagnosing, treating and preventinghuman physical and mental disorders and injuries.
- Conducting examinations and questioning patients todetermine the nature of disorders and illnesses, and recording patient’s medical information
- Ordering laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnosticprocedures, and interpreting findings to assist in diagnosis
- Providing overall care for patients, andprescribing and administering treatments, medications and other remedial measures
- Monitoring patient’s progress and response to treatment
- Advising on diet, exercise and other habits which aidprevention and treatment of disease and disorders
- Referring patients to, and exchanging medicalinformation with, specialist Medical Practitioners
- Reporting births, deaths and notifiable diseases togovernment authorities
- Arranging the admission of patients to hospitals ifnecessary.
Qualification & experience
- o Medical degree and current registration with theAustralian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- o Experience in general practice or a related field.
- o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- o Ability to work collaboratively in a team-orientedenvironment.
- o Maintaining kitchen hygiene and supporting the culinary team.
