Disability Support Worker | Vietnamese Speaking Preferred
At Alliance Community, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live independently, confidently, and with dignity. We are currently seeking a Vietnamese Speaking Disability Support Worker to join our growing team and provide person-centred support to clients around Liverpool area.
This is a disability support worker role delivering person-centred care and support to clients across 7 days per week, based on client needs and support requirements.
Services are delivered across standard shift hours:
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities
Provide household and domestic support
Support community participation and social engagement
Provide transportation to appointments and activities
Offer emotional support and companionship
Provide respite support for families and carers
Promote independence, choice, and wellbeing
About you
Ability to speak Vietnamese and English
Genuine passion for supporting people with disability
At least 2+ years of experience in disability support or a similar role is highly preferred
Relevant qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability, or equivalent qualification
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Current National Police Check
Current Working With Children Check
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel between client locations
Experience supporting people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
Understanding of person-centred and strengths-based support practices
