Building Designer
Key responsibilities
Develop new home designs, floor plans and façades that strengthen and expand our project home range.
Create custom designs that respond to client briefs, site conditions and budgets.
Follow architectural, interior and lifestyle trends, translating fresh ideas into practical, appealing homes.
Balance design quality with liveability, buildability and cost efficiency.
Refine concepts through feedback from our sales, estimating and construction teams.
Prepare accurate drawings and documentation as designs progress towards construction.
About you
A genuine passion for residential design and pride in their work.
Relevant qualifications and experience in building design.
A portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, well-considered layouts and strong street appeal.
An understanding of residential construction, building requirements and site constraints.
Proficiency in REVIT design and drafting software.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Initiative, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Experience with project homes, custom residential design or both will be highly regarded.
