Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality early childhood education and care, focusing on each child's individual needs and embedding the EYLF and NQS frameworks into everyday practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support children's holistic development and foster a safe, inclusive environment that encourages exploration, expression, and learning.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community through open communication and collaboration.
• Conduct regular observations, assessments, and evaluations to monitor children's progress and support their ongoing development.
• Commit to continuous professional development by staying up to date with current research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous nursery room experience is essential.
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Minimum of one year's experience working as an Early Childhood Educator, or equivalent experience.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and relevant legislation and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain.
• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
• Full working rights in Australia for a full-time position.
