We are delighted to open our new 102‑bed aged care home, Holy Cross, Kincumber on the Central Coast and are looking for talented Care Companions to join our team. We offer various shifts including morning, afternoon and night shifts across the week. As part of our consistent assignment approach you will be rostered on to care for the same residents in the same location.

To be considered for this role you will need a minimum of 3 days work availability and preferably more.

Typical Day will Involve

• Providing resident personal care including assisting with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, toileting, assisting with meal service, mobility, social support and tailored Mind and Move activities
• Administering basic medications
• Facilitating individual activities with residents based on their personal interests, hobbies and preferences as part of daily life
• Working collaboratively with team members to ensure the effective running of the household, focusing on resident needs and preferences

To Be Successful in This Role You’ll Need

• A heart and passion for providing high‑quality care to the elderly
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families
• Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
• Certificate III or Certificate IV in aged care or similar
• Medication qualifications (we can facilitate)
