Finance Business Partner - Immediate Start. 4 Month Contract

Seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join the team on a 4-month fixed-term contract, commencing ASAP. Must be immediately available. The role will provide critical support across financial planning, reporting, forecasting, budgeting and strategic analysis during a busy period for the organisation in events / tourism.

The organisation operates in the Events / Tourism industry in Melbourne.

Description

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Produce and maintain management reporting, forecasts and budgets within organisational systems.
• Deliver business partnering support to operational and commercial stakeholders.
• Assist with portfolio, profitability and commercial analysis across events and revenue streams.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, including submissions for capital projects.
• Support post-event financial activities, including analysis of sales performance, claims and commercial outcomes.
• Drive reporting process improvements, automation initiatives and enhanced use of BI, AI and reporting tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting efficiency and decision-making capability.

Profile

• CA or CPA qualified
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering roles.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting capability.
• Experience improving reporting processes, automation and BI solutions.
• Able to hit the ground running with minimal on boarding.
• Experience within projects, infrastructure, leisure, events or complex stakeholder environments highly regarded.
• Comfortable working across both strategic and operational finance activities.

Job Offer

• Salary of AUD 120000 to AUD 140000 + Super (Pro Rata)
