Position Overview

Join the exciting Rockdale service, catering for 79 children across three beautiful learning rooms. As a Room Leader, you will play a key role in shaping engaging learning environments, guiding educators in your room, and ensuring each child feels supported, inspired, and valued.

We’re seeking an experienced Room Leader ready to bring their skills, creativity, and passion into a brand-new service, helping us build strong foundations and a culture where curiosity, creativity, and care thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Lead your room with confidence, drawing on your previous Room Leader experience.
  • Mentor and guide educators to deliver engaging, high‑quality programs.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children thrive.
  • Build meaningful partnerships with families and encourage community connections.
  • Support with documentation, compliance, and day‑to‑day room operations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent).
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
  • Child Protection training / certificate.
  • Proven experience as a Room Leader.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
