Job description

About The Role :

Austin Health has been one of our valued clients since 2011. We have a strong working relationship with them, providing facilities and asset maintenance services for their hospital facilities and equipment. We provide them with 24 / 7 service to ensure continuous operation of their vital assets.

With the recent renewal of our contract with Austin Health, Ventia are seeking Plumbers to deliver facilities maintenance services at Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital.

This is a permanent, full-time role operating Monday-Fridays from 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm with plenty of overtime available and weekend on call at times.

The pay-rate is $45.66 per hour.

Key responsibilities :

  • Maintain all building hydraulic, sewerage, drainage and gas systems
  • Maintain, repair and test all sterilising, sanitary equipment and systems
  • Maintain all roofing systems
  • Provide estimated time lines for repairs with key internal teams so communications with clients can be coordinated
  • Undertake critical switching in the event of a failure to ensure no disruption to critical services
  • Participate in the On-Call / Recall Roster system

    • Skills and Experience required :

  • Plumbing trade qualification
  • Drivers licence
  • White card
