Job description

Our client, a very well-established Mining company in Western Australia, is looking for an Electrical Drafter / Designer to work on an initial 12-months contract based in Perth, WA .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare new and modify existing detailed design and draftings such as Single Line Diagrams, Schematics, Termination Drawings, etc.
  • Performing general arrangements and layout drawings (panels & switchrooms)
  • 3D Modelling of substations and switchrooms, as well as cable routes
  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in Microstation or AutoCAD
  • A good working knowledge in design and drafting of deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams, Schematics, Termination Drawings, etc.
  • Experience in 3D modelling in Substations, Switchrooms and Cable Routes (Preferable)
  • Passionate and willing to learn attitude
