Construction Manager - Perth

The role :

Infracon has been retained by a medium sized Perth building contractor to search and select an experienced Construction Manager as part of their next growth phase for the business. This newly created Construction Manager role will report to the Managing Director as the 2IC for the Perth office and will be responsible for the construction and commercial departments comprising Project Managers, Contracts Administrators and Site Managers.

The Company :

This Head Contractor is highly regarded in the industry with 30+ staff and 6 – 9 projects at any given time. Set up to succeed with good systems, procedures and an impeccable HSEQ record, they work on a variety of new build, refurb and fitout projects. Sectors include retail, hospitality, office, aviation, education, leisure and health between $5 – 50m. They do not build apartments!

About you :

• To be considered for this Construction Manager you will need to meet the following minimum criteria;
• 15+ years recent commercial building experience for Head Contractors
• Experience in managing both Site Managers and Contract Administrators
• 5+ years in a senior management role, Construction Manager or Commercial Manager
• Longevity served in employments and be able to give this role a minimum of 5-8 years in order to take this company to the next level
• Building experience on projects $5 – 80m
• New build, refurb and fitout experience
• In Perth or enroute within 4 weeks
• The right to work in Australia

Salary guide $225 – 275k pkg, commensurate with experience.
