Seeking a skilled and highly motivated Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager ready to take the next step to join our client’s dynamic team. As a Construction Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in maintaining their reputation for delivering outstanding results and exceeding client expectations.

Responsibilities :

  • Project Management : Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership : Supervise and mentor a team of construction professionals, subcontractors, and tradespeople, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Budget and Cost Control : Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and expenses, optimising costs without compromising on quality.
  • Schedule Management : Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion and adherence to milestones.
  • Quality Assurance : Implement stringent quality control measures to guarantee the highest standard of construction and craftsmanship.
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and permits throughout the construction process.
  • Risk Assessment : Identify potential risks and implement risk management strategies to mitigate any project-related challenges.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Regularly communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Procurement : Oversee the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services, negotiating contracts to secure the best value for the company.
  • Health and Safety : Prioritise and maintain a safe working environment, enforcing safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Highly motivated Senior Project Managers wanting to take the next step also welcome.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses will be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with construction software and project management tools.
