Summary

Are you a hospitality professional looking for a fresh challenge Kings Meadows Hotel is seeking a dedicated Venue Manager to lead operations as we embark on a major renovation. This is an incredible opportunity to be part of our transformation and contribute to the growth of our beloved venue.

Kings Meadows Hotel is a renowned establishment located in the vibrant district of Kings Meadows. Our venue offers a diverse range of services including Gaming TAB Bar Bistro (after renovations) and Accommodation ensuring a dynamic and engaging environment for both patrons and staff. We pride ourselves on providing our guests exceptional experiences every time they visit our venues. We are a passionate team aiming to create an environment that brings the community together.

About the role :

  • Run the day-to-day bar and gaming operations with a hands-on approach.
  • Manage financials rostering and stock control the behind-the-scenes magic that makes it all work.
  • Build great connections with our customers and community and create a space where staff love coming to work
  • Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gambling and TAB.
  • Know you have a team behind you helping handle gaming function and event sales marketing HR and operational compliance.

Skills and Experience :

  • Bring hospitality management experience (2 years) having worked across gaming functions dining and bar.
  • Experience in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Have a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) Keno Senior Writer and TAB certification.
  • Be a team player bringing energy and enthusiasm to every shift.
  • Welcome and inclusive character with the drive to innovate and grow within the venue.
  • Great availability must be available on weekends and nights but we like to keep it fair across the management team.
