Role

The Senior Project Officer, Operational Performance works as part of a small team to lead reporting and evaluation across VSSR. The role will support a range of data reform and activities to improve operational performance across VSSR and contribute to identifying and developing key service objectives in line with policy to ensure a coordinated and informed operational approach for victims of crime across the state.

Some of your duties will include :

Identifying, and contributing to, operational performance reform and reporting (for example, State Budget reporting (BP3), annual reporting requirements and contributions to reviews / strategies) across VSSR.
Conducting high level analysis of client services information needs, including operational performance of VSSR and DJCS funded services, and use this robust evidence to provide inform management of emerging issues and risks.
Contributing to the development of VSSR, DJCS, and whole of government research, policy and operational initiatives affecting victims of crime through the provision of timely, accurate and comprehensive collation and analysis of operational performance related data and narrative.

About You :

As an ideal candidate, you will possess :

Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of performance reporting including data collection, statistical analysis, production of management / stakeholder reports, and applications such as MS Excel, SPSS and Strata.

Knowledge and experience using RESOLVE database software applications or similar.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts in ways that are clear and accessible for stakeholders.

Qualifications :

A relevant tertiary qualification and experience is desirable.
