Our client is a diverse property fund who have interests all over Australia and are seeking an experienced Asset Manager for a role based in Perth to oversee their premium portfolio of properties.

  • The Responsibilities
  • Working with Group Management and providing up to date portfolio information
  • Tenant and stakeholder engagement
  • Communicating with tenants, including in relation to their leases and rental commitments
  • Exposure across the development of new assets for the portfolio
  • Development of annual asset plan for each property including capital upgrades and leasing strategies
  • Liaising with property and leasing lawyers
  • Assisting with the planning, marketing and leasing of retail, commercial and industrial projects
  • Managing leasing agents, preparing leasing strategies and reviewing leases
  • Managing property management teams and setting KPI's
  • Implementation and operation of property management platforms and processes
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of the portfolio
  • Assist in the due diligence and assessment of potential acquisitions
  • Financial analysis, market studies and industry standard reporting
  • Strategic determination of highest and best use for each asset
  • Facilities management and risk management / compliance
  • Ideal Skills / Experience
  • A Bachelor Degree with emphasis in property or related discipline
  • Experience in a similar role
  • 5+ years proven experience in asset management
  • Leadership skills
  • Experience gained in leasing or property / asset management
  • Experience in development and contractor management
  • Possess high financial acumen and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to analyse financial data from budgets, business plans & valuations
  • Strong leasing & negotiation skills
