About the opportunity

Altrad is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to join our Subiaco team. In this key leadership role, you will ensure operational excellence across multiple sites, driving safety, quality, and performance while enhancing our reputation with clients.

You’ll be instrumental in leading site teams, embedding standardised operational practices, and proactively engaging with clients and stakeholders on maintenance contract’s that exceed expectations. This is a hands‑on role that combines business performance with active field leadership, offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our Iron Ore and Pilbara growth strategy.

In this role, you will :

• Own and foster the client relationship
• Ensure all sites are fully resourced and capable of meeting Health & Safety requirements.
• Communicate expectations, coach teams, and embed operational excellence to maximise service delivery consistency.
• Ensure balanced level’s of plant, equipment, tools, and consumables to support operational needs.
• Set and drive the contract direction with your team of Superintendent’s and Execution Coordinators
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with client representatives, site managers, and superintendents.
• Engage in field leadership activities, including Layered Audits and Material Risk Assurance.
• Monitor financial KPIs, contract‑specific management plans, and operational performance.
• Attend operational and contract review meetings, ensuring all reporting is accurate and timely.

About you

You’re a proactive, results‑driven leader with a hands‑on approach – organised, strategic, and committed to operational excellence across multiple sites in the Pilbara and Iron Ore mining. You thrive driving performance, building high‑performing teams, and delivering consistent, high‑quality service outcomes.

Experience in Mining shut down’s, industrial services and or access services.

Multi‑site contract management experience with robust leadership capability.

Strong financial and commercial literacy.

Demonstrated success in growing service contracts organically.
