Gippsland Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Alliance
The G3 – Gippsland Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Alliance comprises three Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations located in East Gippsland:

• Lake Tyers Health and Children’s Services (LTH&CS) in Lake Tyers
• Lakes Entrance Aboriginal Health Service (LEAHA) in Lakes Entrance
• Moogji Aboriginal Council East Gippsland Inc. in Orbost

With a Memorandum of Understanding the Gippsland Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Alliance commit to resources, knowledge, expertise and passion to work together to support the values and strategic priorities of each of our three organisations, involving a shared purpose and mutually beneficial goals, and generating joint action towards agreed targets which improve client and community outcomes. We recognise the unique communities each of our organisations serve and respect each of our organisational identities and how we respond to local community needs.

Orbost Region is located on the delta of the Snowy River and is surrounded by the pristine natural beauty of several State and National Parks. It is within minutes of wild, unspoilt beaches at Corringle, and is only a short drive away from the coastal community of Marlo which offers a wide range of ocean, river and estuarine activities.

We have an exciting opportunity in a newly established Standalone Medical Practice at Moogji Aboriginal Council, East Gippsland, Orbost.

• We are looking to enhance our staff numbers and have employment opportunities for the following positions:
o Practice Manager,
o General Practitioners,
o Nurse Practitioners and
o Aboriginal Health Practitioners.

• Opportunity to make a real impact for better health in the Aboriginal communities, local and surrounding areas.

• Full time or Part time opportunity, with varied employment models.

• Opportunity to be employed within a cohesive medical team consisting of AHWs, AHP, Nurse, Nurse Practitioners, GPs and Allied Health Professionals.
