    The Opportunities

    Digital Content Creator

    The Passport Learning and Development Section (PLS) are seeking a dedicated and experienced digital content creator to support our team in the design and development of digital content and collateral.  The successful candidate will work with our existing learning and development team to create impactful and contemporary learning and development experiences.

    To be successful in this role you will have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with staff and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Your aptitude and interest in digital content creation will allow you to enhance your skills in web authoring tools and online applications.

    Digital Content Writer

    The Australian Passport Office (APO) delivers services to millions of Australians every year.  Staff across DFAT’s domestic and overseas network rely on our content management system, known as Compass, to access the policy, processes, resources and other information they need to do their work.

    APO’s Policy and Legislation Section (PLG) are seeking a skilled and passionate content writer to drive the development and improvement of Compass.  The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the Department to plan, produce, review and edit content to ensure it is accurate, concise and readily understood by the intended audience.

    To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate highly developed verbal and written communication skills, engage effectively with others to improve the quality, structure and accessibility of resources and support delivery of system improvements to enhance user experience.

    The successful candidates for the above roles will be expected to work out of their local state / territory office.  Access to remote working arrangements will be considered in line with the DFAT Enterprise Agreement and relevant HR policies.
