The Opportunity
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an inspiring and forward-thinking Senior Consultant / Associate Director – Heritage to join our Perth-based team . This senior role is ideal for a heritage professional who is passionate about the progressive preservation and adaptive re-use of Australia's built heritage , and who thrives on delivering meaningful work that shapes communities and protects our shared history.
You will bring expertise in building conservation and statutory heritage planning , underpinned by a strong working knowledge of Western Australian and national heritage frameworks. Your understanding of heritage legislation , building fabric , and the principles of conservation philosophy will inform your strategic advice and practical solutions across a diverse portfolio of heritage places—ranging from urban landmarks to regional and remote sites of cultural significance.
As a natural collaborator, you will mentor and support a high-performing team, working across complex, multidisciplinary projects alongside architects, planners, engineers, and other specialists. You will play a critical role in strengthening our Perth heritage practice while contributing to national initiatives and the long-term growth of the business.
