Are you an educator who is passionate about social justice workers rights and building collective power The Australian Services Union Victorian and Tasmanian Authorities & Services Branch is seeking a committed and dynamic Educator (0.5FTE) to join our team and help empower workers across local government water energy and social and community services.

Delegate development is central to everything we do as we see this as fundamental to continuing to grow and build power as a union.

As an Educator you will :

• Empower delegates and HSRs to build strong workplace networks and lead collective action.
• Develop and deliver course material to train delegates and HSRs across our industry coverage and throughout Victoria and Tasmania.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the ASUs training program.
• Assist in upskilling staff to be involved in delegate and HSR development.
• Work with branch staff on major ASU campaigns to provide training and education for delegates involved in those campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with our WorkSafe accountabilities as an accredited training body.
