Cedars is a Prep to Year 12 independent private school with approximately 800 students located just 10 kilometres south of Wollongong in the heart of the beautiful Illawarra. We are currently inviting applications for the following position to work within our Early Learning Centre Prep Program.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR

0.6 FTE Permanent part-time commencing as soon as possible.

A permanent part-time (0.6 FTE) position exists for an Early Childhood Educator to commence as soon as possible. Key requirements for this role are :

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent) or working towards the qualification
• A current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012) or be willing to obtain
• NSW Working with Children Check
• Have previous experience in an Early Childhood setting
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Focus on supporting families and promoting inclusive practices
• Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to teamwork and high-quality care
• Professional presentation
• Enthusiasm in their involvement in the co-curricular life of the College

The Early Learning Centre operates 48 weeks per year and is open from 7 : 30am – 6pm. Applicants desiring a part-time load will be considered.
