Rigger - Telecommunications

About the Role
Ventia have multiple permanent positions available for experienced Telecommunication Riggers to join our Wireless Network team in Derrimut, Victoria, Australia.
We are also accepting applications from all across Australia and New Zealand.
In this role you will be responsible for upgrading and modifying existing wireless telecommunication sites including Mobile, Fixed Wireless and Broadcast. Your duties will also include :
- Working at heights, installing mobile / broadcast antenna systems, RRU, feeders, Microwave Link install and panning
- Installing / Erecting steelwork, monopoles, towers, etc. as required on both Greenfield and Co-Lo sites
- Installing and testing of hybrid cables
- PIM testing, sweep testing, distance to fault, terminating feeders, bird-proofing and waterproofing connectors
- Reading / interpreting construction and As-built drawings and completing works to specification and standards
- Installing and maintaining antenna and feeder cables on monopoles and towers
