We are looking for experienced Contact Centre Operators to work with our client in the government space! Join a Purpose-Led Project Supporting People in Victoria!

Location : Melbourne CBD

Anticipated Schedule :  38 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Anticipated Duration : Approx. 3 months

Pay Rate : $38.01 / hour + Super

Your Role :

Hudson is seeking multiple Contact Centre Operators to support a critical government initiative launching from 1 July 2025.  This is your chance to make a real difference—ensuring the people and communities who support us in times of crisis get the support they need in return.

In this inbound contact centre position, you'll assist members of the public. You'll provide accurate, empathetic and timely responses while navigating internal systems to deliver efficient service.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Handling a high volume of inbound calls and emails
  • Providing clear and consistent information on levy structure, concessions, and volunteer rebates
  • Supporting eligible volunteers with rebate application information
  • Documenting interactions and maintaining accurate records
  • Escalating complex issues to senior staff when necessary

To be successful, you will have :

  • Previous experience in a contact centre or high-volume customer service role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and confidence with systems and data entry
  • Ability to learn quickly and interpret policy information
  • A professional, calm, and solution-focused approach
  • Full availability to work full-time for the duration of the contract in the Melbourne CBD
