Exciting Opportunity : Employment Consultant (Mount Gambier, SA)

Are you a passionate individual keen to make a real difference in people’s lives while giving back to your local community? Mas National & IntoJobs are looking for dedicated Employment Consultants to join their Workforce Australia Employment Services team. This is a full-time permanent position based in Mount Gambier, SA, operating Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 am – 5 : 00 pm.

About the Role

As an Employment Consultant, you'll provide one-on-one support to help a caseload of job seekers overcome barriers and achieve sustainable, meaningful employment. Your focus will be on delivering tailored, high-quality services to job seekers, supporting them in securing fulfilling employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivate, engage, and inspire job seekers to build their skills, experience, and confidence.
  • Create and deliver individually tailored services and support plans.
  • Address barriers to employment and provide effective, practical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with employers to create job opportunities.
  • Support people to find sustainable employment with local or national employers.
  • Provide ongoing post-placement support to job seekers and employers.

About You

We are seeking individuals who are :

  • Passionate about helping people and making a difference in the community.
  • Skilled communicators, with the ability to build rapport with job seekers and employers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Organised and adept at administration, with intermediate proficiency in MS Office or similar software and experience using databases.
  • Results and target-driven, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Skills & Experience

  • A background in Employment Services or related fields (highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of WFA & Job Ready systems (advantageous).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Employment Services, Training, Rehabilitation, or Community Services.
