Your Responsibilities :
As one of the GPs in country Victoria, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing comprehensive medical care for a wide range of health issues. Your role involves diagnosing and treating illnesses, offering preventive care, and guiding patients on their health and wellness.
- Primary Care : Provide comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Diagnosis and Treatment : Accurately diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Preventive Care : Promote preventive health measures such as vaccinations, screenings, and lifestyle counseling.
- Referrals : Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare providers for specialised care when needed.
- Patient Advocacy : Advocate for patients' well-being, rights, and access to healthcare resources within the healthcare system.
Your Relevant Skills, Education & Experience :
Should include but not be limited to :
Possess a medical degree from an accredited institution.Completion of general practice training and registration, preferably as a Specialist General Practitioner.Demonstrated clinical competence in diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions across all age groups.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a commitment to providing holistic and patient-centered care.Essential Criteria
