National Inventory Controller - AUTOrecruit

Join a national leader in industrial equipment distribution as their new National Inventory Controller , based in Perth, Brisbane, or Melbourne .

This is a vital role for someone who thrives on structure, precision, and taking ownership of inventory performance across a multi-branch business. You'll support sales, service, and warehousing by ensuring stock accuracy, smart distribution, and clear reporting.

Key responsibilities :

• Coordinate national stock movements, inter-branch transfers, and inventory health
• Perform cycle counts, stock adjustments, and support physical counts
• Maintain ERP records including SKU creation, bin locations, and inventory coding
• Report on stock status, excess / aged inventory, and parts movement trends
• Collaborate with local parts managers and support leadership with clear data insights

The role requires someone who’s confident, hands-on, and experienced in parts operations—ideally from the automotive or industrial equipment space. You won’t manage staff (yet), but you will be responsible for setting high standards and bringing structure to a key part of the business.

Salary is negotiable , depending on experience and capability.
