The Position

• Plan supervise monitor and lead your culinary team
• Bring creativity passion and innovation for the highest food standards
• Up to date knowledge of on trend menu styles and food trends.
• The ability to work across Caf functions and events.
• Successfully managing mentoring and developing a kitchen team including chefs kitchen hands cooks and logistics.
• Deliver to our client and customer high expectations of a premium experience
• Controlling stocklabour budgets operating within strict budgetary constraints
• Champion the significance and accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls
• Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene safety infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass food safety program.

The Person

• Must be able to obtain a National Police Check
• Previous experience with planning and organising delivery of large functions is essential
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to direct your team
• Creative menu writing skill for high level bespoke functions
• Ability to multi-task between hands on work in the kitchen and administration tasks
