About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled ICT Operations Manager to lead the delivery and performance of ICT operational services across The Gordon. This role is central to ensuring staff and stakeholders receive responsive, reliable and customer‑focused support.

You’ll oversee end‑user services, system changes, device management and collaboration technologies, while driving service excellence and operational efficiency. As part of the Corporate Information Solutions Directorate, you’ll also manage budgets, ICT procurement and technology lifecycles—ensuring our tech environment continues to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.

Some key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to :

  • Lead and manage the ICT Operations team to deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused services.
  • Oversee Service Desk operations, ensuring effective support delivery, timely issue resolution and effective escalation processes.
  • Coordinate system change management activities including device deployment, patching and maintenance.
  • Drive the delivery of audio visual and video conferencing services across our campuses.
  • Monitor system performance and service desk metrics, reporting trends and improvements.
  • Manage ICT Operations projects and collaborate with other project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with ICT governance, security and risk frameworks and maintain ICT policies, standards and procedures.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience managing ICT operations in medium to large organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management (ITIL desirable).
  • Experience with service desk systems, device management platforms, and collaboration tools.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, procurement, and technology lifecycle planning.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.

    Salary Range :

    PACCT 8 - $109,738.00 - $115,581.00 + Superannuation
