Veterinary Nurse Surgical Team Leader Full Time Dromana

Peninsula Vet Care is a group of five operated veterinary hospitals combined with an emergency and referral centre on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
We are currently looking for an experienced veterinary nurse to work closely with our clinic manager and Client Services Area Leader to oversee the day to day running of our surgery team and provide training and mentoring to our junior nurses. Additional support and mentorship is provided by our Nurse Educat or and networking with group Area Leaders across our clinics.
Key responsibilities include :
- Train and mentor junior nurses in line with training plans developed by the Nurse Educator & Clinic Manager
- Monitor compliance with company standards of care
- Monitor customer service standards
- Manage day plans
- Coordinate and allocate staff to various tasks to ensure clinic plans are met
- Identify operational issues and make recommendations to resolve
