About The Client :

Our client, based in Morningside, specialises in creating and producing fresh ingredients, ready-to-eat salads, and fresh convenience foods. They supply all major supermarkets.

About the Role :

  • Morning, day, afternoon, and night shifts, ranging from 7-10 hours, with production starting as early as 5 : 00 am and finishing as late as midnight
  • Chilled work environment (1-4 degrees Celsius)
  • Own transport is essential as public transport options are limited in this area
  • Weekly 4-5 Day Roster over Monday to Saturday, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift 5-20 kg are necessary

About you :

  • Measure, portion, and securely seal ingredients in containers to maintain freshness. Assemble salad ingredients per recipe and quality standards
  • Labelling, Sorting & Handling Accurately label products and ensure they meet quality and hygiene standards. Remove any damaged items and maintain a clean, organized packing area
  • Operate food production equipment, including labelling machines, cryovac machines, and vegetable cutters. Cut, sort, and trim vegetables and salad items with precision
  • Package finished products and organize for shipment
  • Wash trays in a wet environment, involving some heavy lifting

    • To be Successful :

  • Must hold an Australian birth certificate or passport as proof of full work rights
  • At least 12 months' experience in food production or packing, with familiarity in GMP standards
  • Willingness to wear provided PPE (e.g., jackets, gumboots)
  • Able to work up to 40 hours, with flexibility across Monday-Saturday
