Role

Younified Care is currently seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to assess and support clients across various life domains, including self-care, mobility, sensory needs, daily living, and environmental access. The role will involve conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalised therapy plans, and working collaboratively with clients, families, and support networks.

The successful candidate will be confident working independently, adaptable across settings, and committed to promoting client autonomy and wellbeing. Experience with NDIS participants and a strong understanding of community-based practice are highly valued.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed functional assessments across a variety of age groups and abilities.
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy programs aligned with clients’ goals and needs.
  • Provide support and education to clients, families, and carers to maximise functional outcomes.
  • Prescribe assistive technology, home modifications, and recommend environmental changes as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with funding requirements (e.g. NDIS).
  • Collaborate effectively with other allied health professionals, support coordinators, and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including all AHPRA and workplace safety guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s degree or higher).
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience (NDIS experience highly regarded).
  • Demonstrated clinical reasoning, case management, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (for community visits, if applicable).
  • Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.

    Salary : 75,000 - 78,000 AUD / Annual
