About the Role

SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for  GPS Excavator Operators & Haul Truck Operators  to join our highly professional and skilled urban development and major infrastructure teams. This is a diverse and fast-paced role working with 8t - 50t Excavators, and Articulated Haul Trucks. This is a full-time role based on a large multi-stage urban development in Ripley, QLD. Responsibilities

  • Carry out pre-start checklists on plant you're required to operate
  • Operate / drive plant properly and safely to suit the individual job conditions.
  • Ensure safety of other team members and the public in accordance with the legislative requirements.
  • Report any fault / damage / problem the plant you are assigned to the Site Supervisor.
  • Service equipment by cleaning, lubricating and re-fueling it and make minor adjustments and repairs when necessary, in consultation with the Workshop Personnel.
  • Keep plant in a clean and tidy state.
  • Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Hold an Excavator ticket
  • Have an OHS Induction Card
  • Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
  • Strong safety initiative
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be reliable and dedicated to the role
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen
