About The Role

As a Personal Support Worker, you'll directly assist clients with acquired spinal cord injuries in their homes.

Responsibilities

Transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists as required

Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene

Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management

Basic wound care and self medication

Domestic support (meal preparation, household duties and laundry)

Community access (driving to appointments and social activities)

Qualifications

Excellent listening skills and authentic communication

Can work a fixed fortnightly roster (morning, afternoons, evenings and overnights available)

Hold a current driver's licence and have a reliable vehicle

Hold or willing to obtain NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards

Experienced in the field, and / or hold relevant qualifications
