About Your New Role
Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, the Head of Corporate Communications will drive the strategy, positioning and execution of all external and internal communications. The role serves as the organisation’s spokesperson, manages national media relationships and leads a small but high‑performing team. With oversight of brand launches, corporate affairs, government engagement and crisis communications, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and protecting the company’s corporate reputation.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute integrated corporate communications strategies across media, industry, government and internal channels.
- Act as the company spokesperson, representing the organisation across media, industry bodies and government forums.
- Build strong relationships with journalists, editors and key influencers to drive positive brand visibility.
- Lead crisis communication planning and responses to safeguard brand reputation.
- Oversee internal communications to ensure employees are informed, engaged and aligned with business objectives.
- Drive the execution of brand launches, events, CSR initiatives and strategic campaigns.
- Provide strategic leadership to the communications team and manage third‑party agency partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and / or equivalent experience in communications, media or a related discipline.10+ years’ experience in public relations, corporate affairs or communications leadership.Demonstrated experience as a company spokesperson, with deep media planning and strategy expertise.Strong understanding of corporate and government affairs.Proven ability to manage crisis communications and develop scenario‑based planning frameworks.Exceptional relationship‑building skills and the ability to influence at senior levels.Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams.Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver complex campaigns under pressure.Benefits, Rewards and Recognition
