Nurse Next Door is a certified Great Places to Work . We are looking to build our care team with a variety of experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses who are able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

    About The Role

    Making Lives Better and Happier Ageing is at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do. We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs.

    Responsibilities

  • Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate, and personalised.
  • Deliver care following the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse).
  • Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
  • Conduct Nursing Assessments.
  • Skills & Experience

  • Community nursing would be an advantage.
  • Subacute and disability experience.
  • Ability to identify and report client care concerns to the Director of Clinical Operations.
  • Ability to redirect or deescalate behaviours.
  • Diabetes management.
  • Dementia experience would be an advantage.
  • Leadership experience is an advantage.

  • Mandatory Requirements

  • Passionate about making a difference.
  • A self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility for own behaviour & success.
  • Coachable.
  • AHPRA Registration.
  • Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
  • CPR & First Aid Certification.
  • Car & Valid Drivers License.
  • National Police Check (Aged Care / Vulnerable Persons Sector).
  • Working With Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Approval.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion.
