About The Role
The Community Engagement Worker supports engagement in treatment to reduce the impact of problematic drug and alcohol use, prevent relapse, address lifestyle issues to encourage adherence to treatment goals, and improve the psychosocial status of the person. Providing assertive follow up to community-based referrals, and working to identify and address barriers to accessing treatment as part of a multidisciplinary drug and alcohol team.
