Senior Conservation Analyst, Environment and Science

As the Senior Conservation Analyst (PO4) you will :

• Provide professional and technical advice to senior staff about strategic conservation projects, including supporting the SEQ Koala Conservation Strategy mapping and analysis.
• Develop, update and expand species habitat models with a focus on koalas in northern SEQ. Knowledge of koala ecology is an advantage.
• Design, develop, implement, and manage key aspects of decision support tools to support strategic conservation initiatives relating to species habitat modelling, with a strong focus on contemporary project management principles.
• Consult with team staff to identify requirements, conduct needs analysis, design, develop, implement, evaluate and maintain a wide variety of decision support tools with strong working experience in contemporary GIS analysis techniques and methodologies including geoprocessing and cart
