Lead Electrical Designer

Providing Electrical Design / Drafting within an Engineering Consultancy environment. Resources projects from concept to delivery.

We have an immediate requirement for a Senior / Lead Electrical Designer to support the Wave International Electrical team in delivering drawings from concept through to final design / construction. Working across a range of projects, from bespoke electrical projects, study stage to FEED and Project Delivery, to providing Design / Drafting support across a variety of resources projects in Australia, you will receive ongoing peer support from the Wave team to deliver the works to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design, including preparation of reports and development of electrical improvement scopes.
• Collaborate effectively with clients and project teams, ensuring clear communication and seamless integration across disciplines.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering technical growth and best practices within the team.
• Deliver high-quality 2D and 3D design outputs, with proficiency in AutoCAD (and other relevant design tools).

Skills & Experience

Remuneration is favourable for a competent, proactive, safe and experienced Electrical Designer with an agile, responsible approach to objectives and capabilities.
