As an Environmental Health Officer, you will be responsible for conducting programmed inspections of swimming pools, skin penetration businesses, and food establishments. Your role will also involve processing Development Application referrals that contain environmental or public health components, investigating complaints, and providing technical advice on all related issues.
You will play a key role in investigating and resolving customer complaints, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Council-approved policies. Your day-to-day will include running monitoring programs, analysing data, arranging sample testing, and making recommendations based on what you find. You\'ll also dive into pollution incidents, public health, and environmental matters, gathering evidence and suggesting the best course of action to meet our obligations.
