TSA Group are looking for an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join our Perth based team on a permanent basis.

Our team’s priority is to ensure effective governance and financial control and delivering insightful partnering support to the business on operational and strategic initiatives to drive our business forward.

The Group Payroll Team works in partnership with all divisions of TSA to comply with all relevant employee legislation and regulations applicable to our industry.

As a Payroll Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing an efficient, effective, and high-quality payroll service to our employees. As a subject matter expert, you will guide and educate the payroll team as well as ensure lodgements are made in line with legislation and support the Group Manager Payroll where required.

Qualifications

About you

  • Strong leadership skills - previous experience managing multiple direct reports in hybrid arrangements.
  • Proven experience liaising with employees and management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of awards, superannuation, taxation, payroll, and employment law.
  • A passion for Innovation – excited about the opportunity to identify and drive significant improvement within the Payroll function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A strong history of consistently achieving targets.
  • A solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Cert IV in Payroll Administration is highly regarded.
